The course is a 3.0km loop where runners complete 1 lap going clockwise along the rear of Merewether Beach.

Who's it for?

This is an event for anyone that wants to have a go and be part of this classic event. Whether you are fast or slow, the atmosphere will be electric at the start and the finish, as spectators assemble for this race.

Race Kits Collection

Number Bibs, Early bird entry T-Shirts etc

Collection of race kits will be possible on Sunday 19 Mar from 6am or up until 45min before each race start. You will need to provide some photo identification.

Race Timing

Race timing will be done using the world famous IPICO computer chip timing system. You will need to attach a timing chip to your ankle. This will record your race laps and final time. Final Results will be available at the presentation and on this site after the race.

First Aid

Medical personnel will be available at the race compound and on the course.

Prizes

A combination of medals, goods and services from local businesses will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in all age categories. Random draws will take place during all presentations. No specific prizes are awarded for walkers or runners. First across the line, run, walk or skip wins!

Presentation

Will be held as soon as possible after the completion of the last competitor. This is expected to be around 10.30am near the finish line.
